John Steffens maintains a civil trial practice dedicated to helping clients navigate complex disputes. Mr. Steffens believes it is important to thoroughly investigate cases and works hard along with his clients to achieve the best result possible. Mr. Steffens is an experienced trial attorney, having successfully represented clients in numerous trials before state courts, federal courts and arbitration panels. In addition, Mr. Steffens has developed a successful appellate practice in which he represents both his own clients and clients referred by other attorneys for appellate purposes. Mr. Steffens has briefed and argued numerous appeals in both state and federal courts. In 2021, the Missouri Bar Foundation chose Mr. Steffens for the David J. Dixon Appellate Advocacy Award, which identifies and acknowledges Missouri lawyers under 40 that excel in advocacy skills as observed by appellate judges.
